Our third fashion week is hosted in Milan and we have seen some high tech stuff. It certainly got a bit technical at Gucci’s cyborg show where the models walked the runway with duplica’s of their own heads. A little creepy for some, but also an excellent way to inspect your face 100% and between you and us, we would mind having a gorgeous hot model face at home to stare at… This fashion week a new trend in the type of shows emerged as shows are now used as expressions in a more scaled down setting, but with more immersive sets as ever. Luckily Dolce & Gabbana found a solution for everyone who missed out on a ticket by using drones. Yes, that right. They used drones, even replacing models to show their newest accessories.  But D&G wouldn’t be their selves if there wasn’t some hint of religion in their collection. We are members of the church of fashion and we can only agree with Dolce & Gabbana who showed that fashion is a religion in their house as well. Something we also believe religiously in is the style of fashion icon Jackie Kennedy, who received a special shout out at Moschino. In a somewhat different shape then you would expect but definitely worth to check it out! Fashion week would not be fashion week without some fabulous after parties and who better could host one in Milan then Italian style icon and editor in chief of Vogue Japan Anna Dello Russo. Her ‘’Beyond Fashion’’ dinner was the hottest ticket in town and the crème de la crème of fashion was invited. We heard the drinks where flowing, the beats were going and fashion was at its best. Even though we did not attend her dinner we did select our favourite street style of Milan Fashion Week for you, so have a look and see if you agree!
